November 6: Lost and Found

Forever Home

My parents are dead, and
I keep forgetting that they
are no longer the people
that I thought I knew
two years ago  and more

Free from the bondage
of the roles and years
the frailties of their lives
they have become themselves
in truest form

I too look forward to
eternal transformation
still unknown but promised
everlasting love and joy
forever one...forever home
